Altyrian Vallum is a professional gate and expander plugin built for producers, engineers, musicians, and creators who need cleaner recordings, tighter performances, and complete control over unwanted sound.

Use Vallum to reduce room noise, microphone bleed, amp noise, headphone spill, breaths, low-level clutter, and inconsistent tails. It works equally well on vocals, guitars, bass, drums, keys, synths, acoustic instruments, samples, loops, podcasts, live recordings, and full production sessions.

Vallum is designed to be fast when you need results immediately and detailed when you need exact control. Start with the intuitive Gate page, select a preset or source focus, adjust the main Gate control, and keep working. When the material needs deeper shaping, open the Shape and Scope pages for advanced timing, detector, sidechain, gate-curve, metering, and visual controls.

Vallum includes purpose-built gate styles for quick results, plus a Manual curve mode for complete control.

The real-time gate curve makes the gate’s behavior easy to understand. Select a style for a reliable starting point, or manually adjust the curve to control how Vallum transitions between open and closed states. The curve is part of the processing—not just a display—so your edits directly shape the gate’s response.

Smart Set and source focus

Altyrian Smart Set listens to incoming audio and creates an intelligent starting point for the selected source type. It is designed to get you close quickly while keeping every important decision visible and adjustable.

Vallum is currently not compatible with macOS. Native macOS, Audio Units, and Apple Silicon support are planned for a future release.

License and updates

Your purchase includes a lifetime license for Altyrian Vallum 1 and all compatible maintenance updates within the Vallum 1.x version series, including fixes, refinements, and feature improvements released for that major version.

Future major versions may be offered as paid upgrades. Existing Vallum customers will be eligible for discounted upgrade pricing when available.

Activation is machine-based through Altyrian’s licensing system. No external host, launcher, Kontakt library, Komplete Kontrol integration, or proprietary audio platform is required.

Install Vallum, activate it, and load it directly into your DAW.
